On our blogs, we want all of our stories to be a soulful kind of magic. Which is great — when we’re inspired. But what about when we’re not?
Is a haiku a blog post? (Sure, it could be.)- Can a photograph stand on its own? (Maybe.)
- What about just a question? (Absolutely.)
Those things work on Twitter — I think, anyway — because we don’t have to think about them. They just come to us.
Why do we make it so complicated on our blogs?
- Are we afraid of breaking the rules?
- Are we afraid of wasting peoples’ time?
- Are we afraid of being laughed at?
