Appreciate your great interview with Hildy. Whole new way of thinking about organizations and community. And, to think about social media and other instruments as present day tools and not ends in themselves. Energy and power ultimately come, not from neat tools or organizations, but from the community. Almost takes on a sacramental touch as we all meet around the communion table of shared values, mission, hopes and dreams. There we find our strength as we hold all things in common.

John- Thank you for adding to Hildy’s already seismic perspective shift with the great metaphor of “adding rocket fuel”. Hildy’s ideas put me in mind of the cell phone commericals – when you focus on community and friends ‘you’ve got people’. pearl
