@Ben – Thanks so much for the great feedback here. This list is very helpful to me – very specific and thoughtful! Bigger picture, heart-based strategic articles are part of the plan. I just started the Friday Deliciousness and have missed a coupe of weeks so maybe I should call it Occasional Friday Deliciousness Again -thanks!

John,

Congratulations on making the change. I’ll be at the front of the line, waiting for the new stuff. I always find your posts engaging and informative.

I’ve got a bunch of marketing blogs on my RSS. I browse most of them, but there are 3 that I read: Seth Godin’s, Chris Brogan’s, and yours. Why? I like how your blog mixes the concrete and the concept. Principle and process. It’s about more than how to grow your business; it’s about how to grow yourself as a business person.

That’s hugely appealing to me.

So, since you’re asking, here’s what I’d like to see:

-Lots of ideas… big ones, grand ones. Inspiration, but not bullshit. As soon as I figure out how to say what that *really* means, I’ll be publishing a book about it . But it’s great to see that come through in a blog- it’s rare. I feel like there’s a lot of it here.

-Regular Friday Deliciousness… or something like that. It’s one thing to get a bunch of links from around twitter or wherever else, but I feel like if you collected and formatted a -small- number (I’d go with 3, cause it’s the magic #) of links that you found during the week, I’d follow them.

-Regular interviews… one a week, maybe? that’s a lot of work, for sure, but I think you’d see it take off. The few interviews I’ve read here, I’ve really liked. Get people from across the spectrum. I’d read.
