Great post. I recently did a presentation of my business at a Boston Young Entrepreneurs meeting and got tons of great feedback. Amongst the feedback, a lot of the business owners there suggested we offer a service that I have been avoiding because it may get lambasted across the social media world. But, it would be an incredibly powerful service for business owners who are short on time but want to have a social media presence. Can't really say more but we've decided to go ahead and roll out the service. We might be called fools and lose some SM credibility but if we can help people reach their goals it'll be worth it.

Taking risks that might make you look foolish are often the most beneficial risks. We haven't publicly announced the service yet (soon) but we really think it'll be a huge success for both parties. Or we might fall flat on our face. Only time will tell.

John - Your post reminds me of our phone call yesterday. I think we need to be fools and just do it.
