I still use Sesmic desktop when I only want to use Twitter. Hootsuite is great because it manages everything.

Thanks for the review on hootsuite, i was always a cotweet guy and lot of people know that. Will be playing around with hootsuite more. I didn't know they had the klout feature. It will be easier to find people who are influential for a particular keyword and network with them. Cheers mate

You can also schedule posts with Hootsuite, which is nice for us night owls. :-/

Love Hootsuite . . . when it works. Seems they still have some bugs to work out as my streams randomly disappear, needing to be reloaded, and in adding a new personal stream from facebook, I ended up with a co-workers stream under my name. Still haven't gotten a response from HS on that issue yet.

Still think it is a great idea and will stick with it for now to see how it progresses.
