Facebook Logo F 13 300x300 How to resize your custom Facebook Page images in less than 90 seconds (video)If you’re still freaking out about the changes Facebook is making to their custom tab width, watch this video. In it, I resize an image in a client site pretty quickly – simply by updated the HTML code (inserting width=”520px” between <img and src=).

Won’t just changing the width attribute cause the image to be distorted, or does FB change the height automatically as well? There’s always picnik.com too for easy image editing. Works with Flickr too I think.

Paul – the images are resized in proportion, just by adjusting the width attribute. Thanks for the tip on picnik!

Thanks — can you tell us what screencasting tool you use (you may have mentioned this in other posts, but I wasn't able to find reference to it if you have)?

if you “View image” in browser its 520px. But Facebook stretches it out to 639 pixels. Makes everything blurry, not a huge issue I suppose but I am a perfectionist. PUtting width= in <img> tag doesn't help

You have to resize the actual image.
