29 Email Subject Line Examples to Inspire More Opens on December 31st

With 12/31 one week away, you’ve probably put the finishing touches on your email fundraising campaigns. All scheduled and ready to go so you can enjoy the holidays with family and friends.

But if you’re still tweaking your messages, I’ve got three important tips for you to get more from your December 31st fundraising emails:

  1. Carefully select the best segments for each message. For example, make sure you’re removing people who will give on 12/30.
  2. Split-test your subject line. You will raise more money if more people open and click your email messages. This starts, of course, with your subject line.
  3. Take inspiration from my inbox. I spent time this morning looking back at some fundraising emails sent to me on 12/15/15. See if you can use these examples to improve the email subject line in each of your messages.
